This test detected a positive pregnancy at 4dp5dt (IVF) or 9 days past ovulation. It came up positive one and a half days before First Response. The only draw back I can see is it may very well detect a chemical pregnancy if that were to be the case, but overall, it does exactly what you want it to. It detects the smallest amounts of HCG in your urine. (I am not a doctor but I have worked with pregnant women and women dealing with infertility for more than 15 years)
